Every now and then, we have friends stay here at the Shih Tzu Ranch. Our buddy, Elliott, has stayed here a few times. We've stayed at his house a few times, too. Our friend, Zorp, came to stay here for a few days in January. She's still a puppy, but we like her still. Well, this time, Zorp's two sister's came to stay too, Tonks and Kimmy. This means that last night, we had five of us at The Ranch. Par-tay! But alas, Tonks and Kimmy will be leaving today to go home with a dog-sitter. Zorp will stay here until her parents return in a couple days. Here are some pictures of our friends:

Well, we avoided it as long as we could, but Yuki gives it away. She's "schtinkie" as mom says. I keep myself smelling fresh, but she doesn't. And if she needs a bath, I get one too. I suppose it has been a while. Three-and-a-half weeks to be exact. That's a long time in his house. Our favorite shampoo is Cloud Star's Green Tea and Bergamot. It smells nice.
I like to run around the house when I'm done-- I feel so fresh and handsome. -Theo Halloween is a fun time for dog owners. I sewed three Minion costumes for Theo, Yuki, and their bestie, Elliott. I got the pattern for the overalls from Sofi and Friends and created a pattern for the yellow shirt based on a shirt from the pups' wardrobe collection. I then created several prototypes for the hood/hat. It turns out the first prototype was the one that worked the best. We competed in the Star 98.0 Dog-O-Ween costume contest and were definitely loved by the kids in the audience and a lot of the adults, but we had some stiff competition. In the end, we did not win a prize, but they were definitely one of the more popular costumes. They are first prize in my heart, though! |
